Our advent calendar. Everyone has someway of counting down the days til the 25th. This is ours. . . and has been for as long as we have been in this house (about 15 years). I don't even remember what we used to use, wasn't as diligent in recording the little things then. Each day contains a member of the nativity and when Christmas Day arrives the whole scene is complete! I love checking it first thing in the morning to see if the piece has been moved. Its almost time to replace it, and I will be sad to see it retire, but I've been looking at all the options of making one, so that'll be just as neat!
