I finally finished Elaine's pages. 4 things that would be on my welcome sign. It was fun to put it together once I decided what I wanted! The mini photos are from some index prints that I got with my picture order. I saved a bunch and have been waiting for the right time to use them. This seemed perfect! Page 1: Page 2:
I finished the sign in for Elaine's CJ. I think it turned out pretty sute, but I don't know how much of a door hanger it looks like. Hope you like it Elaine. I have a few ideas I've been tossing around for my page, but I still have time to figure out which way I want to do it! This one really got me thinking!
I was definitely busy tonight, I also finished Paula's pages. This was a harder topic than I originally thought it would be, but I finally came up with my final 3 favorite book characters: Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, Curious George, and Wilbur from Charlottes Web. I guess mostly I just love the spirit of each of those characters; fun, lively, inquisitive, and unique. Another great topic. I am having a blast working on this CJ so many fun (and challenging) topics, can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for each one!
Yeah I finally got my pictures and finished Kathi's pages. My 3 must haves: my camera, of course; my teddy bear (I know that sounds funny but that bear has been everywhere with me since I was 9 so its more of a tradition to pack her); and some lotion ( almost always Bath and Body Works Vanilla!!!). Great topic Kathi, I really enjoyed putting it together!
Okay so I should be posting my pages for Kathi's CJ, however, due to the double blizzards we have had here in PA. My pictures were not delivered and I am completely out of adhesive!! We got about 2 feet per storm and it is snowing again as I sit here typing. Our front yard has mountains about 6 feet high from all the shoveling! I will be seeing snow well into May at this rate! Below I thought I'd share some pictures of what all the snow looks like! Thats my sister attempting to shovel out between blizzards. At least we all got a good workout! The only problem is until it starts melting we have nowhere else to put it! Anyone want some??? Below you can really see how deep it was as it almost buried my car! Normally I can't stand the snow, but this time I got 2 snow days and was able to "play". Snowman and igloos and snowball fights. I was absolutely loving it!!! Hopefully it'll start clearing up so I can get my pictures and venture out to Micheals for some supplies. I'll get the next layout posted as soon as I can! At least I already have my 3 things I must have when traveling so all I have to do is put the page together!
Okay so I finally managed to finish my pages! 5 reasons I love being a woman: I fought with them for awhile and these are the final results. Every single idea I originally had did NOT work! Good thing I was snowed in this weekend. Plenty of time to come up with new ideas. I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with, but for now I am off to start Kathi's pages. Hopefully I won't have as hard a time trying to come up with some workable ideas.
I keep myself busy documenting my family's history via my absolute favorite hobby, Scrapbooking. (to which I am also addicted!!!) Right now I am single, but trusting God to write the perfect love story for my life.
