Day 19

Day 19: Name 5 blogs that you follow regularly and why

Oh what a fun question! I follow many, many blogs so it was hard to choose just 5, but I decided to go with the ones that I check more often due to constant blog updates. I have attached links to each so that you may be inspired by each one of these amazing women!

1. Becky Higgins  You all know by now that I am a lover of all things Project Life and Becky is the creator of PL, so naturally I am always tuned in to her blog for updates, inspiration and giveaways!

2. Courtney Walsh  One of the 1st scrapbooking books I purchased was written by Courtney and I have been a fan ever since. I just love that she is   a public figure that is so down to earth and "real". You can feel her heart in each and every post she writes!

3. Hope  Hope is one of my dearest friends that I have the privilige of study God's Word with on a daily basis. She is amazingly talented musically and shares many inspirational and fun pieces of music on her blog. I have very few friends that I connect with on a regular basis who have blogs, let alone ones that I follow, and I love that her blog allows me to see a bit more in depth to her amazing musical side (that I don't always understand, even though I am trying!!!)

4. Ann VosKamp  Ann is the author of 1000 Gifts, a book I highly recommend each of you to read! I am so grateful for her to inspiring me on my jouirney to finding more joy. I started the Joy Dare last year and have not stopped yet, I love finding the little things that make each day a blessing! Praise the Lord for her constant inspiration.

5. Ali Edwards  Another great example of memory keeping. Ali has so many great ideas and is a constant source of creative inspiration. I have started many a project due to following her blog. She is the person behind A Day in the Life, A Week in the Life,  and December Daily just to name a few of my favorites that you see here on my blog!

Day 18

Day 18: Where are you happiest

One of the happiest places in my world is my scrapbook studio. Doesn't matter the day I am having when I get in there and see all the pictures and papers and embellishments, it puts a smile on my face. How could it not? There are so many memories preserved there in my little studio. Happy, happy times :)

Day 17

Day 17: When and why did you start blogging

I actually had to go into my archives to find out when I started bolgging! Turns out it was December 2, 2009!! Wow! Can't believe that I have been blogging for this long. It was pretty interesting to note that whaen I started I did mostly journaling, just pouring out my heart and my feelings here in this little online journal of mine. Now I do the same thing with pictures instead of words. I share my life one snapshot at a time with my friends and family far and near, and I love every second of it. A few years ago my main focuses here on the blog became Project Life and 1000 Gifts. I love sharing these weekly projects :) I don't regret the change in my blogging format and am excited to see how it may change even more in the years ahead, As long as I am capturing bits and pieces of my life and my history, it doesn't matter so much how I do it!!!

Day 15

Day 15: List 10 things that make you awesome!

HaHa! I totally laughed when I read today's prompt. . .are you kidding me? I did not think that I could come up with 10 things!! But you know what I did because all in all I am a pretty awesome person and I don't often realize that.

1. I am a child of the KING!!
2. I can identify many species of birds, flowers, and other wildlife
3. I can make my own cards
4. I am always willing to try new things (didn't say like, just try!)

5. I love all things domestic: laundry, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping! I know awesome, right? (actually your all probably thinking weird!! LOL!)
6. I work hard and give 100% to all that I do
7. I love country music
8. I am a scrapbooker and preserver of memories!!

9. I have a secret recipe for the best meatloaf ever!!
10. I am a pretty good bargain hunter (and finder)

There you have folks, pretty stinkin' awesome!! (If I don't say so myself) Seriously though this was by far the most fun daily prompt and you should all grab a piece of paper and write out your own 10 reasons why you are awesome, because when you think about it, you really are!!!
