June challenge II

Okay so I have decided I do not like uploading the camera evryday single day, especially when I am working with 2 different cameras. So I think I've decided to just post my June pictures every couple of days. Ya'll don't mind, right? Didn't think so!! Thanks!

June 5: friends, my coworker/friend is really the only person I saw today as we spent most of our time in the car traveling for work! This was our late night excursion to see the Capital building in DC

June 6: sunshine, yes I cheated, it has been rainy here for 2 days, no sunshine to be found!

June 7: random, my Ipod, was snapping some pictures for a photography scavenger hunt (will post more later)

June 8: travel, love this picture I am not the only one who was traveling :)

I finally got around to uploading my pictures from today and realized I have not posted any of the challenge photos all week. So here is what I found for the 1st 4 days of June: (I am noticing a theme in my picture taking, now that the weather is nice I am much more inclined to outdoor/nature shots, of course outside and nature were the 1st 2 words so it came in handy this time!!)

May's Day in the Life

Another month has ended (where has this year gone?) which means I spent another day documenting our life. I am really enjoying doing a day in life at the end of each month. A friend recently looked thru my Project Life album and read thru one of my day in the life posts, Wow!! I was amazed at all the little details I had captured that I had already forgotten about. And I also really enjoyed the fact that it gave her a glimpse into who I am on a day to day basis. It was just really cool to hear her perspective on it!

So anyway here are some of the pictures that captured the essense of our day:

Starting the summer off!!!

II am sure you all remember the  family Summer bucket list challenge I mentioned previously as part of the Happy Family movement! If you ahven't already checked it out you should! And join in on the fun while you're at it! You can see my list again here.
Well guess what we started!! Yesterday we crossed of #18, go to an amusement park!! Why is it so much more fun (and motivating) to do something when you get to cross it off a list after? Anyway we went to Hershey Park as a family and had a great time, which honestly surprised me, because after the plans were made my mom insisted she really didn't wanna go, dad woke up in a bad mood, the GPS decided not to work enroute, and I was frustrated that I wouldn't be getting on any roller coasters! That's right NO roller coasters, who goes to an amusement park and doesn't ride the coasters. Someone who would rather hang with her afriad-of-heights-and/or-speed- rides family!!! But seriously, after all the seeming negative we had an AWESOME day!!! (even found a message on the family chalkboard this morning that said "Hershey park was a fun family activity!" Now I am even more excited to get to "crossing off" other activities on our list!!!
